Fed
Facts: The Real Deal
Fed Facts: The Real Deal focuses on the lesser-known enhanced federal
penalties surrounding drug charges. Scenarios include drug trafficking,
conspiracy, misprision of a felony, drug sales within 1000 feet of a school,
distributing drugs to a person under 21, and use of a firearm in a drug
offense.
Participants are challenged to apply these legal concepts to realistic
scenarios that depict varying levels of drug use and trafficking involvement.
This interactive CD-ROM, which is compatible both with PC and Macintosh,
demonstrates how young adults can be implicated in a drug trafficking
crime, even if they do not touch the drugs, or commit a first-time offense.
This program was established to fill a void created by traditional community
drug education programs that often do not include information regarding
federal drug policies and penalties.
