Audience:  Fire/rescue, law enforcement, EMS, HAZMAT, public safety, public works, healthcare agencies, and government administration.

Goals:  The overall goal of this training program is to increase awareness of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in the first responder community.

Description:  This awareness level course will help train first responders to detect and identify IEDs and their components, and to respond properly to the scene of a potential IED incident.

  • IED Anatomy
  • Packaged, Suicide, and Vehicle Borne Type IEDs
  • Radio Controlled IEDs (RCIEDs)
  • Threat Response.
