This course, which can be modified for a 2,
4 or 8-hour presentation, is based largely upon the State and Local Anti-Terrorism
Training (SLATT) curricula developed by the Institute of Intergovernmental
Research (IIR) in cooperation with the Bureau of Justice Assistance BJA.
CTAT includes the most current material and in-depth discussion and interactive
lecture on the following categories of terrorism: Terrorist Overview;
the role of local and state law enforcement in combating the terrorist
threat; Domestic and International Terrorist/Extremist Groups; Community
Partnerships; Terrorist Indicators; and Officer Safety Issues.
