Corporal Rich Bahret - Pinellas County Sheriff's Office

 
     
   

Corporal Rich Bahret served as a Scout Sniper in the Marine Corps and began his teaching career as a Marine Infantry Tactics Instructor. He has been a member of the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office since 1988. He has served as a Patrol Deputy, Juvenile Services Detective, School Resource Officer, Field Training Officer, Community Police Officer, and is currently a Corporal in the Law Enforcement Training Section. He is an FDLE Certified Law Enforcement Instructor, Firearms Instructor, Police Carbine Instructor, Driving Instructor and Police Cyclist Instructor with the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA). He has been published in Police and Chief of Police magazines and formerly wrote a column on law enforcement issues for the Tampa Tribune. He teaches a host of Community Policing and Domestic Violence classes for the RCPI and has been a guest instructor at the University of South Florida and Florida Metropolitan University.
