Lt. John Brenner - Florida Dept. of Transportation

John Brenner currently works for the FL Department of Transportation, Office of Motor Carrier Compliance.  He is also an agency coordinator for the Statewide Emergency Response to Terrorism Team.  In addition, he is assigned to the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and the FL Department of Law Enforcement’s Regional Domestic Security Task Force. 

Lt. Brenner joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1994 in the 4th Marine Division 8th Tank Battalion Headquarters.  In 1997, he was assigned to Presidential Duty for President Clinton.  His last assignment was in the Nuclear, Biological, Chemical – NCOIC, 14th Marines, OPS Platoon.

His certifications include: 

• WMD Tactical Commanders Course (Office of Domestic Preparedness)
• Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Warfare Defense School (USMC)
• Advance Chemical, Biological Integrated Response course (US Army)
