Alvin K. Brown - Brown Security Group, PA

Alvin K. Brown is the owner and operator of Brown Security Group, P.A. The firm provides security consulting, intelligence support and investigation services. Brown Security Group, P.A. performs classified and unclassified physical security assessments, training and curriculum development, investigations and intelligence support services for a variety of government agencies and defense contractors.

Mr. Brown is also an intelligence officer in the United States Navy Reserve. He is currently assigned to the U.S. Special Operations Command where he researches and analyzes the counter-terrorism and special operations capabilities of foreign militaries.

Before opening his own firm, Mr. Brown was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). He is a graduate of the Field Tradecraft Course and trained as a CIA case officer. He has collected sensitive information, written intelligence reports and participated in numerous intelligence, counter-terrorism, and counter-narcotic operations.

Mr. Brown also graduated from the CIA's Special Protective Operations Course. His duties included providing executive protection to the Director of Central Intelligence, Mr. George Tenet, assessing and improving security at CIA facilities overseas, and providing counter-surveillance and security support to intelligence operations.

Mr. Brown was also employed by the Pinellas County State Attorney's Office. While serving as a prosecutor he managed and conducted over 200 criminal investigations per month.

Mr. Brown acquired a Master's of Law (LL.M) in International Law & Business and a Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Social Science from the University of South Florida .

Mr. Brown is Board Certified in Security Management (CPP) through ASIS International and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
