Sergeant Joe Caravella - Tampa Police Department

 
     
   

Sergeant Joe Caravella started his law enforcement career with the Tampa Police Department in 1984. He has served several times as a Field Training Officer and performed dignitary protection services for two mayors. He has had assignments in the intelligence bureau, street anti-crime squad, Ybor City walking beat and in the Firehouse Community Policing Unit. Sergeant Caravella is a regular instructor for driving, CPR, "Character First", leadership, crisis response intervention and community oriented policing. He is the Tampa Police Department's Domestic Violence Coordinator, responsible for protocol, policy, training and community outreach.
