Claude Morgan - Retired – Deputy Chief Fairview Fire Department, White Plains , New York

 
     
   

Claude started his fire service career in 1971 as a firefighter with the Fairview Fire Department, and a EMT with Abbey Richmond Ambulance service. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 1978, Captain in 1985, and Deputy Chief in 2000. Claude became an Adjunct instructor for the New York State Fire Academy and the Westchester County Training Facility. His specialty was training in fire attack, fire investigation, hazardous materials, and terrorism preparedness. In 1997, Claude was appointed to the Westchester County Arson Task Force by the District Attorney. He served on New York State's Fire Advisory Board for Governor Mario Cuomo 85'-91 and was President of the Westchester County Arson Investigators Association 1999.
