Barbara Ellis - Pinellas County Domestic Violence Task Force

Barbara Ellis is the Chairperson for the Pinellas County Domestic Violence Task Force. She has spent several years working in the area of domestic violence. Her experience includes work with CASA at the Civil Court as well as working with victims in the Domestic Violence Unit at the State Attorney's Office. She is a certified Domestic Violence instructor from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and is also an instructor for the FL RCPI. Currently, Barbara is the Domestic Violence Coordinator in the Domestic/Personal Violence Unit at the St. Petersburg Police Department. She provides a unique perspective to her job and her training sessions because of her past work experience. Barbara is determined to do what she can in her commitment to help to end domestic violence in her community.
