Captain Paul Kiley - Fort Lauderdale Police Department

 
     
   

Paul J. Kiley is a patrol captain with the operations division of the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department and has been with the agency since 1976. Captain Kiley has worked as a patrol officer, a patrol motor officer, a detective in the Vice, Narcotics and RICO units.

As a sergeant he supervised patrol officers, street narcotics detectives, major case narcotics units and three FBI Drug Task Forces. He also supervised community policing officers.

Captain Kiley also teaches Landlord-Tenant training and Hotel-Motel training to the civilian community. He is an instructor with the Adult Education program for immigrants as well as the facilitator of the Ft. Lauderdale Police-Community Partnership Project with the Haitian Community Center.

Captain Kiley also teaches state-wide as an instructor for the Florida Regional Community Policing Institute at St. Petersburg College.
