Sergeant Ken LaPee - Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office

 
     
   

Ken has been in Law Enforcement since 1988. He has served as a U.S. Army Military Police officer, Alabama Municipal Police officer and most recently a Deputy Sheriff. He has been with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s office since 1994. He was transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division in 2002. He was instrumental in the implementation of Community Policing with the Sheriff’s office and served as the unit supervisor for four years. He is an FDLE certified instructor in Basic and Advanced Law Enforcement courses and a firearms instructor. He is working toward completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. He is active in the community and currently serves as a management board member of the Okaloosa County, Community Development Corporation.
